El Paeller's wood-fired beef broth is much more than a broth: it is a tribute to traditional cuisine. It is born from our commitment to quality and proximity, in collaboration with Carnicería Catalá, a family project that shares our passion for exceptional raw materials.

Cooked slowly over a wood fire, this broth combines the intense flavor of beef with a stir-fry of fresh vegetables and our particular wood-burning touch that makes it unique. An artisanal process that combines the tradition and know-how of the Catalá family and the Margós family.

Whether to prepare stews, casseroles or as a base for your most elaborate recipes, this broth made with national products is your best ally in the kitchen.

What makes it different?

1. Cooking over a wood fire

Each batch of our broth is slowly cooked over the heat of a wood fire, which intensifies the flavors and provides that smoky touch that sets it apart from any other.

2. Deep and balanced flavor

Beef, fresh vegetables and time are the main ingredients in this recipe. We do not add preservatives or additives: all the flavor comes from natural ingredients and careful cooking.

3. Ideal for traditional recipes

It is the perfect base for intense stews, creamy rice dishes and dishes that require a robust broth full of nuances.

Water, beef bones (13.3%), salmorreta (crushed tomato (tomato and acidifier: citric acid), dried garlic, sweet paprika), carrot (2%), onion (2%), leek (2%), beef fat (1%), salt.

ALLERGENS: May contain traces of fish, mollusks, crustaceans and sulfites.

Store in a cool, dry place and in an upright position.

Twist, without shaking, before using, and consume once opened.

Cook the broth before consuming it.

Add water or adjust salt to taste.

Once opened, store in the refrigerator (+4ºC) for a maximum of 3 days or in the freezer (-18ºC) using a suitable container, for a maximum of 1 month.

Can I prepare any stew with the beef broth from El Paeller?

Of course! This broth is designed to adapt to a wide variety of recipes:

Traditional stews, from braised cheeks to a beef ragout.

Spoon dishes such as winter soups or creams that need a more robust touch.

Bases for sauces. Its intense flavor is ideal for reducing and using as a background in your most sophisticated sauces.

Melty rice. Provides depth of flavor in recipes with mushrooms, meat or even foie.

How to correctly use broth in rice dishes?

We leave you a recipe that fits perfectly with wood-fired beef broth, created by Rafa Margós. First, sear a beef steak in the paella and set aside. Then, sauté the ingredients. You can choose, for example, the vegetables that you like the most, such as snow peas, and a selection of mushrooms. Then, add sofrito to deglaze the paella. Add the broth and bring it to a boil. Taste the salt broth and adjust. Remember that our broths already incorporate salt, but we suggest that you do it to your liking. Then, add the rice and in the last minutes of cooking, chop the steak that you had set aside and spread it over the surface of the paella. Taste your recipe with an intense flavor of beef and wood.
