Saffron from La Mancha DOP
If there's one ingredient that can't be missing from a good paella, it's saffron. It's not just a matter of color, but of that unmistakable aroma and hint of flavor that transforms any rice dish.
That's why, at El Paeller, we've selected La Mancha Saffron, a Protected Designation of Origin, grown and hand-picked in Villarrobledo, as tradition dictates. Its long, red strands retain all the essence of this unique spice left to us by the Arabs centuries ago.
We always use it in our wood-fired broths and in every rice we cook. Now, you can have it at home and follow the same process we've learned from generation to generation.
Store in a dry place away from light.
TIP: Infuse it in a little hot broth before adding it to the paella to enhance its color and flavor.

"Rafa is a master of wood. El Paellero is an opportunity to bring authentic Valencian paella to everyone."

As a chef, I need confidence in every ingredient. Paella gives me that, because behind every broth there is respect for tradition and quality. You can't ask for more.

They're an essential ally in my Sunday rice dishes. They allow me to focus on creativity without sacrificing the traditional flavor I seek in each recipe.

We are what we eat. And El Paeller cooks all its broths with fresh ingredients and wood-fired fires. I use them because they guarantee an authentic flavor and save me a lot of time.

“It was about time someone invented traditional wood-fired broths.”

“Tradition and modernity come together in El Paeller's products.”
